About

My passion for designing and building furniture began with my own home.  We had been looking for a bedroom set for some time and were not able to find something with the style we loved and quality that would last  so I came up with the crazy idea of  “hey why don’t we build one."  My husband being ever patient with my crazy ideas agreed.  I scoured Pintrest & found a couple of plans and then added our own twist to make it our own.  By the time we had completed our project, I was hooked and Handcrafted by Hulstein was born.
