This bed adds a twist to the traditional farmhouse bed.  Custom made in your choice of a stained or painted finish (stained rustic alder shown in photos).  The headboard and foot board are solid wood, poplar for a painted finish or your choice of wood type in a stained finish.  The side rails are a high grade veneered plywood.  A mortise and tenon with traditonal bed bolt fastens the side rails to the headboard and footboard. A cross rail support system requires the use of a box spring.
